Bloomsday is a neighborhood restaurant owned by chef Kelsey Bush, located in historic Headhouse Square. We have a hands-on, creative kitchen crew who produce a lot of items from scratch including pasta, pastries & fermented goods mostly from local farmers.
We are seeking a hard-working, good-natured production lead with similar ethos and a good work ethic to organize and supervise all of our prep. Duties would include, but not be limited to: making weekly/daily prep lists, managing prep cooks and dishwashers with their daily tasks, maintaining organization of the walk-ins and dry goods storage, doing daily/weekly inventory and completing prep tasks.
Our ideal candidate has excellent knife skills and is comfortable weighing ingredients, following recipes and large-scale production tasks.
We are currently open Wed-Sat for lunch and dinner and Sun for brunch. We pride ourselves in maintaining a calm and collected work environment and taking care of our employees.
