Job Description

As a Superintendent you will oversee all aspects of the construction process for high-end custom homes, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This position requires a combination of leadership, technical expertise, and strong communication skills to effectively manage subcontractors, coordinate with clients, and uphold the company's reputation for excellence.


Responsibilities:


Project Management:

  • Manage all phases of construction projects from pre-construction planning to final completion.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring adherence to timelines and milestones.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, designers, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met.

Quality Control:

  • Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure workmanship meets or exceeds industry standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections of work in progress to identify and address any issues or deficiencies promptly.
  • Maintain detailed records of construction activities, including daily logs and progress reports.

Budget Management:

  • Monitor project budgets and expenditures to ensure projects are completed within budgetary constraints.
  • Review and approve subcontractor invoices and change orders.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering solutions without compromising quality.

Client Relations:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the construction process.
  • Provide regular updates on project progress, address client concerns, and facilitate decision-making.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service and client satisfaction at all stages of the project.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead and motivate on-site construction teams, including subcontractors and laborers, to maximize productivity and efficiency.
  • Provide clear direction, guidance, and support to ensure all team members understand their roles and responsibilities.
  • Foster a positive work environment that prioritizes safety, teamwork, and collaboration.
