Job Description:

Solomon Herrera McCormick, PLLC is seeking a full time and dedicated Real Estate Paralegal. The ideal candidate will assist attorneys with all aspects of a real estate transaction that includes sales, purchases, and lending. Duties and responsibilities include the following:

*Research: Reviewing title reports, surveys, zoning reports, and other related documents.

*Drafting: Preparing legal documents such contracts, mortgages, promissory notes, assignments and leases.

*Proofreading: Ensuring legal documents are accurate and consistent.

*Support: Working with attorneys, clients and real estate brokers throughout closing process to ensure a smooth

transaction that shall include, and not be limited to extensive telephone contact with clients to answer client

questions about their real estate transaction and requirements to clear title.

*Office Support: Answering phones, scheduling appointments and maintaining files. Must be familiar with ACRIS,

Microsoft Office, Microsoft Word, and Practice Panther or a similar type of Office Management System.

*Proficiency in using document management systems and software for research purposes.

*Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills

*Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
