Job Description
- Handle intake of new annuity applications that are received daily, review application for completeness and accuracy per company and statutory guidelines.
- Prepare documentation for 1035/rollover transfers and actively follow up with transfer companies until funds are received. Must adhere to established follow up timeframes to meet expectations in this position.
- Gain proficiency of all tasks pertaining to premium processing ensuring premium is issued within 24 hours of receipt.
- Handle processing of outgoing funds for not taken orders and overpayment within established timeframe.
- Correspond with producers to ensure accurate and timely processing of premium payments and annuity applications.
- Follow up to obtain required documentation as needed.
- Provide information as needed related to an application's status and assist in research for other departments, agencies, and agents.
- Maintain an updated knowledge base of company annuity offerings both qualified and non-qualified. Possess a basic understanding on IRC tax procedures as they relate to non-qualified annuity products and be able to articulate basic concepts when questions arise.
- Be an active participant in analyzing products, services, and business processes to ensure the satisfaction of our partners, while proposing solutions that will benefit all parties.
- Be an agent of change promoting our digital platforms both internally and externally.
- Comply with HIPAA, Diversity Principles, Corporate Integrity, Compliance Program policies and other applicable corporate and departmental policies.
- Maintain open lines of communication with management regarding developments within areas of assigned responsibilities and perform special projects as requested.
Compensation
- $48,840 a year.
- Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
- Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
