Head of Marketing & Product Management
Summary/Objective
The Head of Marketing & Product Management leads and supports the product development and lifecycle management of our rotary instruments and endodontics solutions portfolios in close partnership with the global teams in Germany (Product, R&D, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Marketing). This key role also heads the marketing activities, focusing on lead generation, brand management, digitalization, and the expansion of our eCommerce capabilities.
The marketing lead is a critical member of the executive team and reporting to the CEO of Komet USA, will help lead and implement the strategic plan and key go-to-market and infrastructure initiatives across teams. As such, we are looking for an agile change agent to help the company evolve and grow to continue our success within our company values.

Essential Functions
· Set the direction and manage the day-to-day marketing and product management activities of the organization, keeping marketing and product management projects on schedule, on budget, and ensuring collaboration between various departments.
· Define and lead Komet’s omnichannel go-to-market strategy in collaboration with the VP of Sales to ensure alignment between outside sales, inside sales, and digital marketing/eCommerce.
· Lead and encourage a team of 8 product managers and marketers, enabling high performance through mentorship and feedback.
· Swiftly gain an understanding of the client domain and competition and identify trends and opportunities to drive innovation and differentiate our offerings.
· Create the marketing strategy, positioning, and value proposition for the company that is in line with company objectives.
· Define the product strategy, vision, and outcome-focused roadmap that solves real problems and creates value for clients.
· Participate in the International Marketing Leadership team to define marketing strategy and process excellence for global activities.
· Build business cases for new products and services.
· Develop product launch plans.
· Define pricing strategy and support forecasting plans.
· Develop multichannel marketing campaigns and supervise all marketing and communication (digital, print, video, social, content, PR, etc.)
· Work with the global marketing team to ensure consistent brand standards and corporate identity.
· Coordinate marketing campaigns with sales activities. Ensure close collaboration with the sales team.
· Define training needs and ensure talent development.
· Manage and grow our Key Opinion Leader Speaker’s Bureau and peer-to-peer education programs.
· Oversee Continuing Education workshops and lectures.
· Oversee event planning (National Sales Meeting, etc.) and meeting support for large dental meetings and trade shows.
· Maintain effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant company functions are kept informed of product and marketing objectives.
· Help drive new CRM implementation and technology upgrades.
· Create budgets and ensure controllable expenses are on target.
· Define and track success metrics; leverage data to make informed decisions. Set KPIs and analytic reports to track and measure campaign and product performance.
Qualification/Skills/Education/Experience
· Local candidates highly preferred.
· BS/MS degree in marketing, business, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
· Minimum of 10+ years’ experience.
· Dental experience highly preferred. Healthcare experience might be considered.
· Demonstrated success in developing relationships with colleagues, customers, and industry KOLs.
· Strong branding experience and creative outlook.
· Strong analytical and project management skills.
· Experience in building successful, multi-functional teams and developing talent.
· Financial analysis and forecasting skills.
· Qualified multi-channel marketer.
· Confident and dynamic personality.
· Communication and presentation skills
· Familiarity with Agile Marketing, Pragmatic Framework, and Lean is a plus.
· Experience in Global entities required.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time, salaried position: the work schedule is hybrid with 3 days to be at the office, with additional days if needed. Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with additional hours as needed.
Travel
- Approximately 25% travel is required. Travel requirements will vary, and may comprise visits with KOLs, co-riding with sales-team members, and attendance at dental conferences or meetings. Weekend and international travel may be required.
