Professional Relations & Education (Sr.) Manager


Summary/Objective

This role will be responsible for facilitating relations with professional organizations and KOLs in the US market, driving strategy and implementation of clinician education programs. The role will also work closely with Sales to help facilitate new hire training and curriculum development for new and existing Komet employees, including identifying the best tools to support these programs and measure effectiveness. In addition, this role will oversee Komet’s event execution for both internal and 3rd party events.

Essential Functions

  • Engage professional organizations within the dental space in partnerships to further the Komet USA presence in the market.
  • Develop an omnichannel clinical education strategy, including identifying platforms and partners to develop and host content.
  • Work with Product Management to identify and partner with KOLs.
  • Manage relationships with KOLs throughout the year to find opportunities to support them when mutually beneficial.
  • Design and coordinate sales training program, partnering with sales leadership and product management to develop content and identify opportunities.
  • Prepare the 8-week training strategy with the Product Managers and Sales Managers.
  • Prepare educational material such as digital-based training modules, videos, etc.
  • Work closely with Marketing and Product to develop materials, evaluate products, review content, etc. as the clinical expert.
  • Oversee Event Manager to ensure successful internal events as well as large and small trade show execution.
  • Assist Sales and Product Management in developing sales enablement tools.
  • Work in coordination with Sales to co-travel with new and tenured sales reps as management feels needed.


Qualification/Skills

  • Local candidates highly preferred but regional ones might be considered.
  • Education – BA in Business, Education, or related field
  • Seven or more years of experience is preferred Dental industry experience highly preferred. Healthcare experience will be considered.
  • KOL management experience essential.
  • Sales training experience essential.
  • Event management experience is beneficial.
  • Excellent communication skills, self-motivated, self-starter, well organized.
  • Understanding of effective teaching methodologies and tools.
  • Critical thinking and decision-making skills.
  • Organizational and time management abilities.
  • Budget management experience.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time, salaried position: the work schedule is hybrid with 3 days to be at the office, with additional days if needed. Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with additional hours as needed.


Travel

Approximately 25% travel is required. Travel requirements will vary, and may comprise visits with KOLs, co-riding with sales-team members, and attendance at dental conferences or meetings. Weekend and international travel may be occasionally required.
