About the Role

We are seeking an energetic, growth-oriented, and experienced contributor with a solid understanding of financial analysis and business case creation. They will provide analysis of financial and business performance, reporting, budgeting and forecasting of business operations, performance KPIs, headcount and the financial infrastructure of cost centers. Additionally, they will support the budgetary planning and forecasting process and provides financial support to key stakeholders. Interacts with key stakeholders by successfully demonstrating the ability to collaborate across functions. They will demonstrate a strong attention to detail and analytical skills as well as the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning & Forecasting:
  1. Participate in planning, budgeting, forecasting, annual and long-range planning in support of key operating segment(s), sales channel(s) and/or functional area(s).
  • Reporting:
  1. Provides accurate, timely, and actionable financial reporting and key business metrics to business and operating teams, gain key insights into trends with meaningful and actionable analyses.
  2. Contribute with monthly close & reporting process
  3. Support Finance’s standing goal to continuously improve the quality, efficiency and value of financial information produced, via financial tools, operational efficiencies and automation.
  • Performance Management:
  1. Gathers data to contribute to building financial performance metrics to include utilization of resources, efficiency metrics, dashboards and/or profitability reporting.
  2. Build thoughtful analyses to drive better investment decisions and optimal resource allocation.
  3. Assists in managing the budget for respective area(s) by identifying opportunities to achieve cost savings. Assists in evaluating and determining the best use of budgeted financial resources.
  4. Provide input and analytical support for business/investment/synergy cases, pricing scenarios and/or billing.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  1. Collaborate and communicate on a timely basis with other functional areas within the business organization regarding monthly or quarterly forecasts, annual budgets and other financial trends and developments
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • BA/BS in Business, Finance, Economics, or equivalent. Additional experience in lieu of a degree may be considered.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years related professional experience in finance or related field.
  • Experience within private equity or publicly traded, healthcare, and high-growth technology companies preferred.
  • Working knowledge of forecasting and financial statement analysis required.
  • Demonstrated competency in financial and statistical reporting, design, and preparation of financial models required.
  • Experienced with CRM, ERP and FP&A systems (e.g. NetSuite and NSPB), advanced excel.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including the ability to communicate with team and top management is essential as well as good presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated success working in a deadline driven and multi-tasking environment.
  • Track record of consistently exceeding expectations and taking on more responsibility.
  • Self-driven, organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

  • Onsite/hybrid role in South Jordan, Utah
