About the Role

AdvancedMD is seeking a self-motivated data analyst to provide business intelligence, reporting and analysis for our rapidly growing sales organization. Join a team of data and finance experts to develop data pipelines with python, explore data using SQL, visualize the data in PowerBI, and build monthly financial reporting packages.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with business and finance leadership teams
• Evaluate operational reporting and data needs, prepare data and provide analysis on what the data means with recommendations on how it should be actioned
• Analyze and understand the existing reporting solutions to determine and action improvement opportunities
• Work with the leadership team to determine, define and measure employee productivity KPIs in scalable and meaningful reports
• Be a problem solver, using data to provide ad hoc information that will help solve individual productivity
• Additional responsibilities as assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree (Business, Economics, Information Technology or related field).
• 3-5+ years’ experience working as a business analyst or financial analyst.
• Experience within private equity or publicly traded, healthcare, and high-growth technology companies preferred.
• Working knowledge of forecasting and financial statement analysis required.
• Demonstrated competency in financial and statistical reporting, design, and preparation of financial models required.
• An understanding of sales pipelines and forecasting.
• Solid data analysis skills.
• Experience using CRM.
• Demonstrated experience using SQL, Python, etc. to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets.
• Experience using business reporting tools (e.g. Excel, PowerPivot, etc.).
• Working utilization of dashboarding tools (PowerBI, Tableau , Google Data Studio, etc.).
• Excellent verbal, writing communication skills and the ability to work across multiple departments.
• Exceptional problem solving & time management skills.
• Ability to organize, synthesize and present findings and recommendations.
• A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques.

Work Environment

• Onsite/hybrid role in South Jordan, Utah
