Addison Group, in partnership with our logistics company client in Rancho Cucamonga, seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to join their team.
Compensation/Benefits – Salary range can increase up to $120,000/year depending on qualifications. Our client supplements base compensation with health and wellness benefits.
SENIOR FINANCIAL ANALYST DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze and report on outbound freight costs, including cost per mode, mile, and variances by customer and product mix
- Monitor freight expense targets and provide data-driven insights to reduce costs and optimize profitability
- Review large datasets to explain variances in forecast, budget, and prior-year performance to executives
- Build and maintain financial models to improve forecasting accuracy and streamline budget processes
- Provide strategic recommendations to improve business performance and reduce costs
- Support leaders with analytics and reports focused on inbound and outbound freight costs
- Conduct complex ad hoc analyses to support key business objectives
- Develop KPIs, dashboards, and metrics to track trends and identify risks for senior management
- Enhance dashboards, reports, and scorecards for cross-functional teams
- Provide ad-hoc analyses as needed
SENIOR FINANCIAL ANALYST QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Required
- Bachelors’ Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in finance
- Strong oral and written communication skills
