Key Responsibilities:

• Project Design and Development:
• Design and implement detailed plans for power distribution systems, including layouts and equipment specifications.
• Create and develop accurate Bills of Materials (BOM) for project execution, ensuring alignment with project scope, budget, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide thorough markups and implement engineering drawings for complex distribution systems, adhering to project requirements and industry standards.
• Coordinate with project stakeholders, monitor project timelines, and provide regular updates to ensure on-time delivery of high-quality results.
• Technical Analysis and Support:
• Analyze and interpret complex distribution project scopes to develop clear, efficient, and safe engineering solutions.
• Specify and select appropriate equipment for distribution infrastructure, including reclosers, PMEs, fuses, switches, disconnects and other essential components.
• Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., NEC, NESC, IEEE) and knowledge of utility design practices.
• Knowledge of distribution infrastructure equipment, including reclosers, PMEs, fuses, switches, transformers, and related components.
• Experience developing and interpreting engineering standards, project scopes, and electrical distribution design drawings.

• Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor of Science degree (B.S.) in Electrical engineering from an ABET accredited university
• 3+ years of experience in power distribution design and engineering.
• Proficiency in PLS-CADD, AutoCAD, and other design software is a plus.
