Duties & Responsibilities:

• Using PC-DMIS, Microsoft Excel, and Visual Basic, develops new and updates CMM programs for 1st articles, in-process inspections and stock checks of on-site machined automotive parts
• Daily inspection on castings and cnc’ed automotive parts. Must be able to do complete inspections and clearly review those results with setup and engineering personnel.
• Work quickly in a fast-paced production environment providing accurate inspections.
• Verify inspection results using alternative inspection procedures as necessary.
• Create and make changes to existing reports for up-to-date customer documentation.
• Assist in the development of new inspection routines and required fixtures from either cad model or blueprint.
• Follow all production documentation (ie. CMM programs, inspection reports, and blueprints) and advise on any changes.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• 4 years CMM PC-DMIS operation and Machine Parts Inspector.
• Knowledge of CMM PC-DMIS operation. Machine parts and surface plate inspection required. Knowledge of CNC Machining of metal-based parts.
• Blueprint reading, interpretation and GD&T skills. Accurate use of thread gages, calipers, bore gages, templates and other hand tool mandatory.
• Computer literate in Microsoft Excel with Visual Basic and SPC a plus. ISO-9001:2015 procedure knowledge is helpful.

Experience:

• GD&T: 4 years (Required)
• Coordinate measuring machine: 4 years (Required)

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

• (4/10) Monday-Thursday, from 6 am to 4:30 pm. Possible OT on Fridays
