Electrical Engineer, Renewables

Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled professional to prepare competitive commercial and technical proposals for utility-scale renewable energy projects, including onshore wind, solar PV, and battery energy storage systems (BESS). The role involves analyzing technical documentation, coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors, and ensuring proposals meet client requirements and internal standards. Candidate will be expected to work in office (located off Katy Fwy in Energy Corridor) 5 days/week.
Key Responsibilities
- Review RFPs, technical specifications, and project requirements.
- Request and analyze pricing from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Develop technical deliverables, including work descriptions, schedules, and organizational plans.
- Participate in site visits and prepare detailed reports.
- Maintain and update internal databases for materials, subcontractors, and pricing.
- Ensure seamless project handovers to the execution team.
- Uphold compliance with quality, safety, and company standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- 3+ years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on renewable energy projects
- Strong technical and analytical skills, including proficiency in relevant engineering software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams
- Ability to work in office (Energy Corridor) 5 days/week
- Passion for renewable energy and a commitment to sustainability
