Job Title : Land Development Project Engineer

Job Description : My client is seeking an experienced Land Development Project Engineer to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have over 6 years of experience in civil engineering, specifically in land development, and hold a Professional Engineer (PE) license.

Key Responsibilities :

• Project Management : Lead and manage land development projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet client specifications, budgets, and deadlines.
• Design and Planning : Perform and oversee design tasks including grading, drainage, stormwater management, and utility design using AutoCAD Civil 3D and other relevant software.
• Regulatory Compliance : Review and ensure compliance with municipal zoning and land development ordinances, as well as other applicable regulations.
• Site Investigation and Due Diligence : Conduct site visits, research ordinances, and utility services to establish comprehensive development guidelines.
• Client Interaction : Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns or changes in project scope.
• Team Leadership : Supervise and mentor junior engineers and support staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in land development engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and other relevant design software.
• Strong understanding of local, state, and federal land development regulations.
• Excellent communication, project management, and leadership skills.
