Genesis10 is currently seeking an Electrical Engineer III with our client located in Versailles, OH. This is a direct hire, onsite W2 position. This role is on-site 4 days per week.
Job Description:
Exhibit extensive experience and expertise in electrical engineering. Take on more advanced responsibilities, such as being the technical lead on projects, working with cross functional teams, and ensuring that successful execution of electrical design projects. Involved in the evaluation and selection of components and compliance with industry regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Designs, develops, and tests electrical equipment, components, circuits, and systems.
- Applies communication protocols such as I2, SPI, UART, CAN, Ethernet, etc. within product designs.
- Performs extensive testing and validation of designs to ensure reliability, performance, and safety standards are achieved.
- Studies innovative technologies that can be applied to design solutions or products.
- Creates and interprets advanced electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and specifications.
- Constructs individual prototypes and models for testing and evaluation.
- Applies new electrical engineering techniques through experience.
- Performs testing required for appropriate regulatory standards and product specifications.
- Analyzes test results and troubleshoots to root cause of failure.
- Collaborates with development team and more experienced engineers. Escalates significant issues or decisions to higher-level engineers.
- Manages small engineering projects.
- Defines customer needs and requirements.
- Develops manufacturing processes according to global engineering codes and standards.
- Provides leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to level I and II engineers.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field and 4+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of both.
- Solid foundation in mathematics, physics, and engineering principles
- Experience with Altium and designing layouts for electrical systems
- Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills are essential
