Position Description: Senior Pipe and Valve Engineer 1 year contract with per diem and mobilization.
What You'll Be Doing: You'll be part of the Plant Design Engineering crew, reporting directly to the boss of the group.
Your Main Gig:
- Dive deep into the world of pipes and piping components, checking out calculations and figuring out what materials are best.
- Get your hands dirty with piping and valve specs, pulling together material requests, and sifting through bids to find the gold. Plus, you'll be the go-to for making sure we pick the right suppliers and keeping an eye on their paperwork.
- You've gotta have been around the block with ASME B31.3 and be tight with other big-deal industry standards.
What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- Only looking for folks with a US passport or proof you can work here without any fuss.
- A BS degree and at least 9 years in the game.
- A solid handshake with ASME B31.3 and all those other important industry rulebooks.
- Been there, done that with creating and running material requests.
Even Better If You Have:
- PE Registration – because it's cool to have those letters after your name.
- Got your feet wet on DOD/DOE projects.
- Know your way around PipeWorks, TeamWorks, and got the chops with procurement and non-conformance reporting tools. (But hey, we're not naming names on specific systems.)
