We are representing an industry leading Fortune 500 manufacturing organization who is actively seeking a Quality Manager due to a recent promotion/transfer. The Senior Quality Manager will report directly to the Plant Manager who is looking to begin the interview process ASAP!

POSITION OVERVIEW

• Candidate will report to the company Plant Manager while managing (5) direct reports
• Complete financial/budgetary ownership of department
• Candidate will assume ownership over both the plant quality and customer quality function while working cross functionally with different departments
• Provide direction and leadership consistent with company and business plan goals.
• Maintain and develop strategic relationships with key suppliers and vendors
• Direct and drive the utilization of problem solving methods for related plant and customer issues.
• Work closely with plant staff to development "HI-POT " talent
• Responsible for improving process efficiency through best practices, SOP's, and lean manufacturing.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree is preferred for consideration
• Candidate should have at least 5 years of automotive Quality management experience
• Targeting candidates with a keen understanding of SPC, GD&T, and Dimensional Analysis
• Candidate should be well versed in IATF-16949
