Job Title: Full Stack Developer (Node.js/Spring Boot)

Location: Charlotte, NC (CLT) or Oakland, CA. Hybrid work schedule with in-office presence required on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer with a strong background in backend development using Node.js and Spring Boot. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of experience in enterprise environments and be proficient in using Splunk and CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain full stack applications to meet security needs, focusing on application development and infrastructure creation.
• Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Full-Time Employees (FTEs) to understand project plans and requirements.
• Learn and implement Minimum Viable Product (MVP) strategies, recommending appropriate technology stacks for application development.
• Articulate and justify coding logic and decisions, ensuring clarity and understanding of development choices.
• Avoid reliance on generative AI and code completion tools without understanding the underlying logic.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in backend development with Node.js and Spring Boot in an enterprise setting.
• Proficiency in using Splunk and CI/CD tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to articulate coding decisions.
• Experience in developing homegrown solutions and full stack applications.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment, with flexibility for remote work.

Additional Information:

• This role is not focused on security development but rather on application development and infrastructure hosting.
• Candidates must be able to work in either the Charlotte or Oakland office on a hybrid schedule, with remote work considered for exceptional candidates.
