Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Labor & Employment Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of employment law and labor regulations, with a focus on providing legal counsel to businesses and organizations in matters concerning employee rights, union negotiations, and workplace discrimination.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal guidance on employment law and labor relations issues.
- Represent clients in litigation related to employment disputes, including discrimination and wrongful termination cases.
- Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating employment contracts and agreements.
- Advise clients on compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
- Conduct training sessions for clients on employment law topics and best practices.
- Manage relationships with clients and maintain effective communication throughout legal processes.
- Research and analyze complex legal issues related to labor and employment law.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Barred in FL
- 5+ years of experience in labor and employment law.
- Strong understanding of discrimination laws, union regulations, and labor laws.
- Experience in litigation and representing clients in court.
- Excellent analytical, research, and communication skills.
