What You Will Be Doing

• Utilize AutoCAD and other design tools to direct land development projects residential, commercial, institutional, and occasionally municipal
• Observe project sites and monitor progress of construction to ensure work conforms to applicable standards, regulations, and design specifications
• Work with other senior staff on business development, schedule weekly work assignments, prepare proposals and invoices
• Prepare and present reports and applications at public meetings detailing proposed designs, environmental benefits and other pertinent information
• In conjunction with clients and contractors, provide value engineering and respond to requests for information during construction
• Provide design training and supervise/mentor junior staff
  

What You Need for this Position

• B.S. in Civil Engineering or related field
• Professional Engineer (PE) license holder (3+ years preferred)
• 5+ years of Civil Engineering experience, focusing on Grading, Drainage, Utility, Roadway and Site Design Plans
• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and HydroCAD
• Strong Stormwater Hydrology/Hydraulics experience, along with working knowledge of Land Surveying techniques and Construction Administration
• Knowledge of Town, State and Federal Land Development / Construction Permitting requirements
