Position Overview
We're looking to add a land surveyor to our team! In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing surveying projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all work complies with local and state regulations and standards. We specialize in civil engineering and land development projects in various types of areas ranging from residential, commercial, k-12 schools, hospitality, ADA compliance, and stormwater management. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct land surveys using appropriate techniques and equipment
- Prepare and maintain accurate survey reports and documentation
- Utilize AutoCAD and Civil 3D for drafting and mapping purposes
- Perform staking and mapping activities to support construction and development projects
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding surveying practices
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a surveyor in land development/civil engineering projects
- Professional licensure as a land surveyor is preferred but not required
