PC Technician with LIMS experience

Midtown New York City (Onsite)

• Overall IT support lead of laboratory operations in NYC facility.
• Maintaining and supporting the end users and workstations by providing installation and maintenance of hardware and software. Support the effective operation of the IT systems and devices.
• Having knowledge of laboratory equipment and systems as well as integrate laboratory instruments with data management systems such as LIMS (Laboratory Information Management Systems) and ELN (Electronic Lab Notebooks).
• Collaborating with end users (scientists) to determine and develop specific information systems requirements and processes.
• Perform installation, setup, configuration, and troubleshooting for PCs and other devices.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and roles within lab IT systems and maintain system connectivity with Cloud (Azure/AWS). Ensure secure storage, backup, and retrieval of laboratory data.
• Recommend, schedule, and perform PC, hardware and support equipment improvements, upgrades, patches, and repairs.
• Being onsite 4-5 days in NYC midtown location.
