Omega Holdings is private equity-owned leading distributor of air conditioning and other high demand aftermarket components to a broad range of light-duty and heavy-duty vehicle end markets. Omega has created a unique, market leading platform in the automotive aftermarket with numerous opportunities to apply its repeatable playbook to grow both organically and through acquisition.


Position Summary :

Omega Holdings' corporate headquarters is seeking a detail-oriented and high-performing professional to assist and support the Finance & IT department. The role involves using tools including but not limited to Power BI, SQL, Data Modeling to standardize financial analysis, developing financial KPIs, and streamlining reporting across all Omega brands. The role will report directly to the Manager of FP&A.


This position is intended to be onsite but can be remote/contractor basis depending on the individual.


Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Utilize your expertise in financial concepts and transforming them into actual reports
  • Build logical models with Finance team and then work on creating the actual tables
  • Write complex SQL queries across data from multiple ERPs, utilizing previous financial and ERP knowledge
  • Automate processes and spreadsheets
  • Convert complex excel reports into interactive Power BI reports
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and analyze the datasets to uncover trends and insights
  • Develop Power BI reports and analysis around key business functions including pricing, cost, margin, expenses, and inventory to allow business units to make decisions quickly
  • Identify key trends, patterns and develop actionable insights to improve the business
  • Provide ad-hoc data support to the business units
  • Provide data analysis to support planning and executing transactions, partnerships, and strategic growth initiatives
  • Design interactive dashboards and reports to clearly visualize key metrics, using Power BI or Tableau


Desired Professional Skills and Experience:

  • 2-4+ years of work experience ideally in a finance department to automate processes and build advanced analytical models
  • 2-3+ years of experience in writing complex SQL queries
  • 2-3+ years developing dashboards using Microsoft Power BI
  • Python experience is preferred, but not required
  • Jet Reporting experience is preferred, but not required
  • Undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, STEM or related preferred
  • Patience and ability to excel under pressure, handling multiple requests often with tight deadlines
  • Knowledge of accounting and finance principles and previous financial reporting/modeling systems
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Extensive experience working with raw data sets with Microsoft Excel or similar analytical program preferred
  • The ability to present and communicate work effectively to management
  • Outstanding communication skills in both written and verbal expression
  • Distribution, manufacturing, or retail Industry experience is a plus, but not required
  • Degrees in Finance, Computer Science, or Statistics with hands on experience using automation and Business Intelligence Tools
