We are offering a full-time position based out in Westlake, TX as Software Engineer in Test. This is going to be a long-term project with a direct end client. You will be working under the payroll of PALNAR for a reputed direct end client with no layers in between. As far for PALNAR we are 25-year-old Global firm and head office is based out in Cranbury, NJ. We are cash rich and pay twice in a month. Your immigration needs will be addressed accordingly and will be given preference.

Skills:

• Programming Languages: Python or Java
• API testing Tools: Rest Assured
• Strong SQL
• ETL Testing

Nice to have:

• Understanding of AWS concepts
• Monitoring Tools: OBIEE

Responsibilities :

• 10+ years of Software Quality Assurance or proven experience desired
• Data Lake or Data Warehouse experience is required
• Solid understanding of Data Warehousing systems and data migration concepts
• Demonstrable skills in Data Management including, but not limited to Data Mining, extraction, and related disciplines
• Experienced with programming languages such as Python or Java
• Strong Experience with SQL is required
• Strong experience with ETL/ ELT validations in Oracle, Snowflake PostgreSQL , etc
• Good Understanding of Behavior Driven Development - BDD Framework
• Strong experience in reporting tools such as OBIEE and Microsoft Power BI etc
• Proficiency in SQL ideally within Snowflake
• Good understanding of cloud technologies AWS or Azure is preferred
• Understanding of Dev Ops principles and strategies as well as how to apply them to multiple SDLC models is preferred
• Experience with trading or financial applications are preferred with a practical understanding of brokerage applications highly preferred
• Experience in Agile methods, particularly Scrum, preferred
