Title:Senior Project Manager
Location:Oakland, CA.
INTAKE NOTE: The role is for the Joint Use Map Portal (JUMP). The role will be a PM for a project related to utility assets. Experience in using tech assets, moving data like pulling information from sensors into asset systems i.e. GIS, SAP.
The resource needs to have technical experience in this specific arena, with experience in specific business. The role will manage 1 single project initially. There will be opportunities for more work if they have the capacity to do so. Most of the PMs within the team would have 2-3 projects concurrently managed and worked on by PMs. GIS will be heavily utilized for this specific project/role - extensive experience in GIS is good.

Manages multiple large-scale, highly complex projects ($5M, 10 FTEs), by coordinating a team of Sr PMs Supports PMO leadership to optimize resource allocation Determines budgets and staffing for business cases Submits PMA and PM performance assessments for project stage, mid-year and year-end reviews May be called upon to take on challenged projects, closely supervising incumbent PMs Is SME for project methodologies and financial analytics Actively mentors PMs and PMAs
BS in CS or equivalent
8+ years in IT project management, with focus on staffing or resource management
Proficiency in PDM ; PPMC tools Experience with managing 30+ FTEs as part of a single 12+ month project
Experience with 5+ projects ($5M labor each) and 5+ PMAs ; 2 PMs from planning Proficiency in Client Satisfaction Metrics Project statistical ; variance analysis
