We seek a full-time Legal Assistant with prior law firm experience in Trust & Estates, Estate Planning, Probate, and Litigation for its Brookfield, Wisconsin, location. An employee must be a team player, detail-oriented, have a proven work ethic, and have excellent communication skills. Savvy technical skills, professionalism, and the capability to manage the workflow of multiple attorneys will make you a well-rounded candidate.

Responsibilities:

•Prepare, format, proofread, revise, profile, and save correspondence and drafts of documents to the document management system

•Document reproduction, including printing, copying, scanning, and client file maintenance

•Client billing activities such as time entry, proofreading, modifying, and sending client invoices

•Client contact, monitor email and regular mail to resolve questions from clients and co-workers

•Scheduling support, expense reimbursement management, and overall administrative support to two full-time attorneys

•Assist additional attorneys as needed during support staff paid time off

Requirements

Qualifications:

•Prior law firm experience in the areas of estate planning, probate, and litigation is required

•Microsoft Office Suite proficiency, including Word, Excel, and Outlook

•Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written and strong client service acumen

•Aptness to work independently, as well as part of a team

•Strong time management skills for undertaking a large volume of work
