We are looking for a quality and experience Mechanical Assembler - Open to transitioning from Aerospace or other Technical Industries. 90% of their work is around Gear Boxes / Naval Ship Components. Carry out various labor tasks in the assembly and testing departments.
Disassemble and inspect gearboxes.
Assemble and test gearboxes.
Perform deburring, cleaning, and painting tasks.
Focus on continuous waste elimination and reducing cycle times.
Collaborate with teams across the facility (Purchasing, Quality, and Engineering) to swiftly address and resolve assembly/testing issues.
Provide feedback to Engineering on assembly/testing discrepancies, drawing inaccuracies, and quality issues to prevent future occurrences.
Promote and uphold a culture that prioritizes workplace safety, cleanliness, and environmental responsibility.
Build strong relationships with peers to encourage teamwork and a shared sense of purpose.
