Primary Purpose:
Entering and maintaining resources in the inventory management system used across the organization for accountability purposes.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification/License:
- High School Diploma or GED
Knowledge/Skills:
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Knowledge of instructional materials inventory management guidelines
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as government rules, procedure manuals, and safety rules
- Ability to develop spreadsheets and databases, do word processing, and use inventory and records management software
Experience:
Data entry experience preferred
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
Inventory
1. Perform all aspects of the inventory, exchange, and distribution of instructional materials in accordance with State and district regulations, policy, and guidelines.
2. Establish resource items in the inventory system.
3. Support campuses across the district with adding barcodes and entering specific items into the inventory system.
4. Support campuses with checking items in, out and processing end of year inventory for accountability purposes.
5. Support with inventorying district level assets and processing transfers of materials between campuses and area offices.
6. Assist with conducting an annual physical inventory of the district’s fixed assets and instructional materials.
Records and Reports
7. Compile, maintain, and file all reports, records, and other documents as required.

8. Follow district safety protocols and emergency procedures.
9. Any and all other duties as assigned by your immediate supervisor.
