Duration: 6-month contract to hire

Location: Frederick, MD

Rate: $55hr-$60hr

Overview: A client in the Frederick, MD area is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance operations of a 690,000 square foot fulfillment center. The successful candidate will manage the maintenance department, develop, and execute budgets, and develop/manage capital projects and ensure the efficiency of all maintenance activities. Key responsibilities include overseeing various equipment maintenance (MHE, chargers, batteries, dock equipment, racking, plumbing, electrical, truck yard, chilled water and refrigeration system), supervising 2 hourly employees.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the maintenance department, ensuring the efficiency of all maintenance activities.
• Develop and execute budgets, and manage large capital projects.
• Lead, train, and motivate a team of maintenance personnel.
• Oversee the operation, maintenance, and safety of the ammonia refrigeration system (if applicable).
• Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to track and manage maintenance activities.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a maintenance manager position within a Distribution Center, Manufacturing facility, or Fulfillment Center.
• Experience with CMMS
• Experience in creating and managing large capital projects and budgets.

Nice to Have:

• Freon refrigeration experience
