We are seeking an experienced and organized Transportation Manager to oversee and optimize our logistics operations. The ideal candidate will coordinate with vendors, manage schedules, ensure timely delivery of goods, and provide exceptional customer service. Flexibility to work across multiple shift times is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Vendor Coordination:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with transportation vendors and partners.
• Negotiate contracts and ensure compliance with service agreements.
• Scheduling & Logistics Management:
• Develop and manage transportation schedules to ensure efficient operations.
• Monitor and adjust delivery plans to address unexpected changes or challenges.
• Customer Service:
• Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and smooth operations.
• Operational Oversight:
• Monitor and manage transportation costs, ensuring budget adherence.
• Implement and uphold safety and compliance standards across all operations.
• Flexibility & Adaptability:
• Be available to manage and oversee operations across multiple shifts.
• Quickly respond to operational needs, including after-hours support when necessary.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in transportation management, logistics, or a related field.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including multiple shifts when required.
• Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite is a plus.
