Our client, a financial services firm, is seeking a Contracts Manager to join their team in Westlake, CA!

Responsibilities:

• Lead projects to support operational process improvement and coordination to ensure effective contract execution and data capture
• Negotiate terms for smaller contracts
• Work on assignments where considerable judgment and initiative are required in resolving problems and making choices, recommendations, or decisions
• Regularly exercise discretion and independent judgment on business matters
• Participate on negotiating teams to complete moderate complexity contracts
• Manage multiple contracts and projects with varying deadlines
• Performs other related duties as required and assigned
• Demonstrates behaviors which are aligned with the organization's desired culture and values

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of relevant work experience
• Paralegal certification and/or other legal qualification, contracts or equivalent work experience is highly desired
• Certified Purchasing Manager or related certification a plus
