A TekStream client, an innovative startup dedicated to providing cutting-edge financial services solutions, has an amazing full-time / perm opportunity for a Frontend Developer to join their team from the ground up!
In this role, you will create customer centric solutions that are highly performant and thoughtfully engineered. You will collaborate with a talented and diverse team to bring features to life and partner on everything from ideation and design discussions to implementation, release, and iteration.
While initially remote, applicants must be local to the Atlanta area and open to being onsite up to 3x per week as the team expands.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of professional front-end web development experience.
- Proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks such as React (extensive use preferred), Next.js, Vue.js, or Angular, and a strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
- Fluency in TypeScript, Node.js, and mastery of CSS and styling best practices.
- Experience optimizing applications for performance and scalability, with a focus on responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, or WebGL frameworks (e.g., Three.js), and experience working with backend services.
- Familiarity with CI/CD platforms like GitHub Actions and version control systems such as Git.
- Understanding of SQL and a strong sense of design, UX/UI principles, and product functionality.
- Strong debugging skills and the ability to build and troubleshoot complex systems in a team environment.
- Knowledge of common frontend security issues and how to address them.
- Hands-on experience in the entire software development lifecycle: designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining software applications.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to participate in code reviews and share knowledge effectively with the team.
- Proven experience working collaboratively in a team environment to develop, debug, and maintain applications.
- Strong problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
