Job Title: Project Executive - Healthcare Construction

Location: Houston, TX


Position Overview:

Our electrical construction client is seeking a highly experienced Project Executive specializing in healthcare construction to lead large-scale projects in the Houston area. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record managing healthcare construction projects exceeding $50 million , with strong leadership skills and a commitment to quality, safety, and project success.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership: Oversee healthcare construction projects from pre-construction through completion, ensuring project goals, timelines, and budgets are met.
  • Client Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact for project updates and issue resolution.
  • Team Oversight: Lead and mentor project teams, including Senior Project Managers, Project Engineers, and field personnel.
  • Budget & Financial Management: Manage project financials, including budgets, cost control, and profitability.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure project compliance with industry standards and safety protocols.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement project execution plans in collaboration with internal stakeholders and subcontractors.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all construction meets client expectations, code compliance, and industry standards.


Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 10+ years of construction management experience as a Project Executive or Senior Project Manager, preferably within the healthcare sector.
  • Project Scale: Proven ability to manage projects valued at $50M+ .
  • Industry Expertise: In-depth knowledge of healthcare construction, including hospital infrastructure, medical facilities, and other healthcare-specific compliance requirements.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with industry-standard project management software and tools.
