An international industrial manufacturing company is looking to appoint a Health & Safety Coordinator to assist overseeing a large domestic operation within the Holly Hill, SC area. As a member of the EHS leadership team, the successful candidate will be tasked with fostering a health and safety culture, requiring the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at various levels of the business.

The Role:

• Help develop and implement safety management systems and strategies.
• Assist H&S team and plant leadership on incident investigations and corrective action implementation
• Help lead site safety trainings.
• Develop relationships with all employees while working hands-on to implement safety programs.
• Work in conjunction with the company’s partners and adhere to their safety needs

The Candidate:

• 0-5 years of Safety experience in industrial manufacturing, cement & aggregates, or civil construction (including internships)
• B.S. degree in Occupational Safety & Health or related field preferred.
• Familiarity with standard Safety programs & policies, such as Confined Space, LOTO, Working at Heights, Machine Guarding, and PPE.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage others.
