Job Description

We are thrilled for the opportunity to partner with a growing manufacturing client who is seeking to add an experienced Senior Human Resources Business Partner to join their organization located in Miami County, Ohio. This role is critical to driving a positive employee experience, enhancing workforce engagement, and supporting operational goals. The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of 5 years of HR experience, with a strong focus on employee relations in a manufacturing or industrial environment.


As a Sr. HRBP, you will act as a trusted advisor to management, collaborate across teams, and lead initiatives to foster a productive, inclusive workplace culture. This role is fully onsite, requiring hands-on involvement to effectively address employee and business needs.


Desired Skills and Experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Employee Relations:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for resolving complex employee relations issues, ensuring compliance with company policies and employment laws.
  • Conduct investigations, provide guidance to managers, and recommend solutions to mitigate risk.
  • Proactively address employee concerns and foster open communication across the organization.
  • Partner with leadership to align HR strategies with business objectives, including talent management, workforce planning, and performance improvement.
  • Implement HR programs that promote engagement, retention, and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local labor regulations.
  • Regularly update policies and procedures to reflect legal requirements and best practices.
  • Support the design and delivery of training programs focused on leadership development, conflict resolution, and effective communication.
  • Coach managers and employees to enhance professional growth and organizational effectiveness.
  • Performance Management:
  • Oversee performance review processes, provide guidance on setting objectives, and support action plans for underperformance.
  • Lead initiatives to recognize and reward employee contributions.
  • Change Management:
  • Lead HR-driven change management initiatives to support business growth and cultural transformation.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of HR experience with a strong emphasis on employee relations in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of employment laws and regulations (e.g., FMLA, FLSA, OSHA).
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive issues with professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience managing HR programs in an onsite environment is highly preferred.
