Job Description

Position and Responsibilities Overview


  • Mentoring: Foster and develop mentoring across all trades and manpower levels within the company.
  • Corrective Measures: Document and implement any required corrective actions.
  • Project Planning: Develop a comprehensive 'Master Plan' for projects.
  • CPMI Management: Execute, supervise, and maintain CPMI.
  • Scheduling: Plan and schedule daily and weekly work activities.
  • Resource Management: Requisition, maintain, and account for tools, materials, and equipment.
  • Performance Monitoring: Oversee the progress, performance, and quality of work for all subcontractors and major equipment suppliers.
  • Inspections Coordination: Coordinate required jurisdictional inspections and maintain positive relationships with inspectors.
  • Labor and Cost Reporting: Review, analyze, and update labor hours and job costs with project management on a weekly basis.
  • Optimization: Optimize project opportunities through field/pre-fabrication planning, CADD, organizing, and scheduling without compromising quality, safety, or project completion dates.
  • Schedule Preparation: Assist project management with schedule preparation, including logic and resource/budget allocation, labor resource charts, and updates as required.
  • Documentation: Maintain proper and complete project documentation in accordance with company standards, available for inspection at all times.
  • Training and Leadership: Provide training, mentoring, coaching, and leadership for field personnel, and participate in company-provided training.
  • Cost Coding: Ensure accurate and complete cost coding of all time cards daily, review, sign off, and forward time cards to the corporate office as required.
  • Project Closeout: Ensure efficient project closeout, including completion of all punch list work, owner training and instruction, transfer of spare parts, final cleanup, demobilization, and project records archiving.

  • Relationship Building: Initiate and maintain relationships with key staff and other departments.
