Senior Governance Analyst (40449)

Our client is an organization in the Madison area looking for a Senior Governance Analyst. This company is looking for someone with 2+ years of related experience in a governance focused capacity, strong communication skills, and strong judgement. The salary range for this position is $80k-120k.

The Senior Governance Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with a range of governance and administrative tasks supporting corporate governance functions.
• Serve as a point of contact for the board and governance-related communications and support.
• Conduct research and benchmarking on corporate governance practices.
• Draft board and committee meeting agendas.
• Assist in preparing, reviewing, and distributing board and committee meeting materials.
• Record for assigned board or committee meetings as needed.
• Assist in the preparation and filing of federal and state regulatory reports and SEC filings.
• Oversee the annual directors/officer’s questionnaire project.
• Support the preparation, production and distribution of annual proxy statement.
• Respond to retail shareholder inquiries and assist with transfer request.
• Ad hoc projects as needed.

The Senior Governance Analyst will possess the following:

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• 2+ years of related governance experience.
• Strong administrative skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
