About the Role - The Client Service Associate partners daily with a Senior Relationship Officer to provide hands-on work supporting the delivery of high-quality family office, investment advisory, and fiduciary administration services for a portfolio of client families. The client service team serves as the primary point of contact for our clients. The role affords the opportunity to learn about the financial industry.
Responsibilities
- Trust administration, such as preparing documentation to support discretionary distributions and other discretionary decision-making.
- Coordinating the opening, closing, or conversion of accounts for our client families.
- Daily account administration, including tracking dates and deadlines, client outreach, processing and documenting deposit and disbursement transactions, and handling client service administrative matters.
- Gathering, and organizing financial, entity, tax, and estate planning information / documents.
- Serving as a liaison to external attorneys, CPAs, and other advisors / vendors on behalf of the client team.
- Developing specialized knowledge investment and trust software, including Axys and TrustRite.
- Understanding legal and compliance requirements.
Skills and/or Experience -
- Bachelor's degree or prior experience in a trust company or exposure to banking, investment, financial planning, tax consulting, or estate planning disciplines.
- Demonstrated work experience in a customer service role.
- Acceptable results on background tests.
