Fenco Solutions is looking for a talented individual to join its team with a focus on transforming the business’ supply chain. The business is currently not fully utilizing its ERP system and the incumbent will be instrumental in setting up the master data and developing the required business processes to enable Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) and Inventory Management within the ERP system. 

POSITION SUMMARY:  

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Supply Chain & ERP Project Specialist to play a pivotal role in our ERP upgrade and maturing project. This individual will initially be highly involved in project management activities while contributing significantly to solution design and implementation, particularly in areas related to Materials Requirements Planning (MRP). As the project concludes, this role is expected to transition into a senior role within the supply chain function. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS : 

Project Management:  

• Collaborate with the Project Manager to plan, track, and execute project deliverables, ensuring alignment with timelines and budgets. 
• Act as a liaison between cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and coordination. 
• Support risk management efforts by identifying potential challenges and proposing mitigation strategies. 

Solution Design & Implementation:  

• Contribute to the design of the ERP solution, with a strong focus on optimizing MRP and supply chain processes. 
• Collaborate with technical teams and subject matter experts to ensure accurate system configuration and data migration. 
• Test and validate ERP functionalities to ensure they meet business requirements. 
• Identify opportunities to improve supply chain processes and implement best practices through the ERP system. 

Supply Chain Focus:  

• Analyze and enhance supply chain operations, including demand planning, inventory management, procurement, and production scheduling. 
• Leverage ERP tools to drive efficiencies and support decision-making. 
• Serve as a key resource for supply chain-related reporting and analytics. 

Leadership Development:  

• Develop a deep understanding of the company’s supply chain and ERP processes, positioning yourself as a future leader. 
• Take on increasing responsibilities within supply chain operations to prepare for a managerial role post-project. 

QUALIFICATIONS:  

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Operations, Business Administration, or related field. 
• 3-5 years of experience in supply chain roles with exposure to ERP systems and MRP. 
• Strong project management skills, with experience coordinating cross-functional teams. 
• Proficiency in ERP platforms and MRP processes. 
• Analytical mindset with a problem-solving approach and attention to detail. 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
• Ambition and capability to grow into a Supply Chain Manager role 

Preferred Skills:  

• Experience with ERP implementation or upgrades is highly desirable. 
• APICS/ASCM certification (CPIM or CSCP) is a plus. 
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and inventory optimization.
