Junior Project Manager / Scrum Master / Business Analyst

On-site – San Antonio, TX

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a deep understanding of the relationships between Information Technology applications and their respective business stakeholders.
  • Engage with business stakeholders and interface with multiple departments across our End-user communities to ensure accurate and complete requirements are shared with the development teams.
  • Manage the day-to-day development activities such as assigned project work, defect and bug management, and support of ongoing business processes.
  • Facilitate and lead agile ceremonies such as daily scrums, sprint planning, program increment planning, and retrospectives.
  • Maintain the backlog and prioritize work items according to the business value and stakeholder feedback.
  • Identify and troubleshoot obstacles that are hindering the team’s performance, progress, and productivity.
  • Assist in strategic development, execution, management, and break down of defined work.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, business, or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • 2+ years of experience working in an agile technical environment as a business analyst and/or project manager.
  • Ability to work across multiple, distributed, functional groups.
  • Strong enterprise-wide vision (seeing the big picture) with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong business analysis, project management, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies such as kanban and scrum and ability to adapt to the changing needs of the business.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Certifications or relevant training in any of the following areas: Lean Six Sigma, Business Process Management, Quality Management or Engineering.
  • Experience with Scaled Agile Execution (SCRUM/KANBAN concepts).
  • Excellent attention to detail and time-management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to interface with all levels of employees.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Enthusiasm for solving problems and contributing to the success of the team and the company.
  • Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
