Junior Project Manager / Scrum Master / Business Analyst
On-site – San Antonio, TX
Responsibilities:
- Develop a deep understanding of the relationships between Information Technology applications and their respective business stakeholders.
- Engage with business stakeholders and interface with multiple departments across our End-user communities to ensure accurate and complete requirements are shared with the development teams.
- Manage the day-to-day development activities such as assigned project work, defect and bug management, and support of ongoing business processes.
- Facilitate and lead agile ceremonies such as daily scrums, sprint planning, program increment planning, and retrospectives.
- Maintain the backlog and prioritize work items according to the business value and stakeholder feedback.
- Identify and troubleshoot obstacles that are hindering the team’s performance, progress, and productivity.
- Assist in strategic development, execution, management, and break down of defined work.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, business, or related field or equivalent work experience.
- 2+ years of experience working in an agile technical environment as a business analyst and/or project manager.
- Ability to work across multiple, distributed, functional groups.
- Strong enterprise-wide vision (seeing the big picture) with strong attention to detail.
- Strong business analysis, project management, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of agile methodologies such as kanban and scrum and ability to adapt to the changing needs of the business.
Additional Qualifications:
- Certifications or relevant training in any of the following areas: Lean Six Sigma, Business Process Management, Quality Management or Engineering.
- Experience with Scaled Agile Execution (SCRUM/KANBAN concepts).
- Excellent attention to detail and time-management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to interface with all levels of employees.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
