TITLE : Project Manager

Comp: Up to $100,000

Location: Berne, IN

Our client is seeking immediate assistance in identifying a candidate for a Project Manager direct hire position in Berne, IN.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support Sales and Proposals teams by ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of quoted concepts and costs.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks in proposals.
• Develop, write, and price customer proposal change requests.
• Collaborate with engineering, purchasing, production, and quality teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Oversee project milestones and critical path schedules to guarantee timely delivery of equipment.
• Maintain strong written and verbal communication to effectively convey updates and expectations.
• Monitor and manage project schedules to align progress with customer requirements.
• Serve as the primary liaison between customers and internal teams, providing regular updates and managing expectations.
• Conduct weekly meetings with project teams to review progress and address any challenges.
• Participate in weekly master schedule meetings with department management and operations.
• Manage project scope changes, assessing their impact on resources, budgets, and timelines.
• Track and report on project expenditures, providing regular updates to leadership.
• Prepare periodic reports for customers and internal stakeholders.
• Provide support to the Field Service team as required.

Must have:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s, in Engineering discipline
• 3-5+ YOE as a project manager at a manufacturer
• Managing projects from start to finish, we need someone that has lots of customer/internal communication
• Someone who has completed change requests, status updates, quoting, etc.
