Pinnacle Partners is assisting our client in their search for a Systems Administrator to join their team in the Indianapolis, IN area. This successful resource will be responsible for deploying and supporting enterprise grade server, storage, and software solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues as they arise
• Responsible for day-to-day operations and availability of LAN/WAN networks
• Perform daily backup operations
• Daily system monitoring and regular security monitoring to identify intrusions
• Apply patches and upgrades
• Perform periodic performance reporting to support capacity planning

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree
• 3+ years of experience as a Systems Administrator
• Experience with switches, routers, Windows Server and Active Directory
• VMWare, MS Exchange, and Cisco environment experience
• General networking knowledge
• Working knowledge of LAN/WAN, Firewall Analysis, Design, and Implementation

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• CCNA or CCNP
• Experience with storage area networks
• Scripting experience
• Experience managing and configuring firewalls

TERMS:

This is a direct hire opportunity with a salary up to $34/hr based on experience. They offer benefits including medical, dental, and vision along with 401K matching and other benefits.
