The role will provide you the many opportunities to progress your career. Tasks will be computer heavy with helping to manage shipments end to end, from overseas to US business door for imports and exports on the reverse too. This requires an attention to detail to manage many moving parts of a shipment from carrier booking, to dispatching trucks, quoting and invoicing . An interest in how the world works in international freight and moving cargo through the global supply chain while helping our customers is key.

The successful applicant will need:

· Strong work ethic & communication skills

· Good Math skills

· A strong desire to learn and excel in Global Shipping and Supply Chain Management

· The ability to multitask and prioritize

· Strong computer skills in email organization, and the ability to new learn programs quickly

· Commitment to quality, customer service and getting the job done right the first time

· Be able to think outside the box and be a resourceful thinker

· Knowledge of HTS codes, AES, Shipping documentation and Customs Entry process a plus

· Be a motivated and energized team player

· A pro-active nature with foresight (see problems before they are visible and solve them on the spot)
