We are seeking an experienced Senior Sales Manager for an upscale Full-Service Property in Downtown Chicago . This unique opportunity will be responsible for groups of 50 rooms or larger. Someone proactive in their approach, genuine, and outgoing will do very well within this growing hotel group. If you are a tenured Sales Manager looking to expand your career then this is the opportunity for you.

Compensation: $80,000 - $95,000 + bonus/commission, comprehensive health benefits, 401k + match, a great PTO plan, employee discounts, and more!

Requirements :

• 3+ years of hotel group sales experience
• Background in group, rooms, catering, or banquet sales experience
• Prior experience developing and initiating strategies to increase group room revenue
• Background with Delphi, SalesPro, CI/TY, or other hotel CRM applications
• Must possess a strong attention to detail

Responsibilities :

• Oversee all group and business travel sales for the property
• Identify new markets of business opportunities
• Participate in sales calls with the team to assist in closing new business
• Work closely with the DOS to ensure proposed rate negotiations
• Update action plans and financial objectives weekly
