COSCO SHIPPING LINES (North America) Inc. is seeking a Account Executive to join their Global Sales Division for our South Central Region in the Dallas-Fort Worth, TX area .
The selected individual will be responsible selling COSCO services, meeting and exceeding all sales goals established by Management. He or she will conduct F2F and virtual meetings with existing and target import accounts in DFW surrounding areas.
Responsibilities will include
- Take over and grown the existing account base in North Texas.
- Provide support and maintenance for the account base.
- Aggressively seek new growth opportunities for imports throughout the territory.
- Negotiate new contracts and rate adjustments as directed by Trade.
- Build and grow logistics opportunities in the territory.
- Complete all required reporting on time and with accurate and valid information.
- Learn COSCO internal systems and personnel/procedures.
- Be the main point of contact for all contracted accounts and provide support as needed.
- Provide rolling preplans and conduct a minimum of 8-10 face to face sales calls each week, in addition to phone and email communications as necessary.
This position will be virtual based in Dallas-Fort Worth, TX.
Additional Qualifications:
- Ideal candidate will have strong communication skills.
- Be computer-literate and have a proven track record in transportation and logistics.
- 5 years experience in outside sales of ocean freight in the Carolinas is required.
