Job Description

Adams & Martin Group is seeking an Estate Planning Legal Assistant to join a law firm in Downtown Minneapolis. This is a direct hire opportunity with a hybrid work model (4x per week onsite).

Responsibilities:

  • Assist attorneys in drafting and reviewing legal documents related to estate planning.
  • Manage communication between clients, attorneys, and relevant parties.
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and deadlines.
  • Conduct legal research and compile information.
  • Organize and maintain physical and electronic files, ensuring all documents are accurate and up to date.
  • Assist team with estate planning procedures and processes.
  • Process attorney reimbursements and client invoices.
  • Provide general administrative support, including answering phones, managing emails, and processing invoices.

Position Requirements:

  • 2+ years of legal administrative assistant experience supporting estate planning attorneys.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including proficiency in grammar and proofreading.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal software applications.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree or paralegal certification in a related field is a plus.
