We are currently seeking a Team Leader for our client.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Act as the point of contact for the regional supervisor and the client's regional manager.
  • Manage daily operations.
  • Implement policies and procedures while ensuring compliance with legal responsibilities and employment and safety laws.
  • Adhere to safety regulations, identify training needs, conduct initial risk assessments, and participate in accident investigations.
  • Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance plans as well as special projects.
  • Ensure smooth and safe team operations.
  • Motivate team members to achieve objectives.
  • Evaluate the quality of the team members’ work.
  • Supervise and train apprentice electronics technicians.
  • Prepare regular reports to update the regional supervisor and regional manager.
  • Complete on-the-job training (OJT) within 12 months of the contract start date.


Required Skills and Competencies:

  • Diploma or certificate in a recognized technology program, such as:
  • Industrial Technician
  • Communications Technician
  • Electrical and Electronics Engineering Technologist
  • Electronics Engineering Technician
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience within the last 10 years in maintaining at least 10 electronic systems or subsystems, including:
  • Security systems, communication systems (radio, telephony, PA systems, intercoms, messaging, etc.), and operational systems (access control, key management, etc.).
  • At least 2 years’ experience managing a team of at least two people.
  • Knowledge of computers and peripherals.
  • Ability to analyze complex situations and formulate effective technical solutions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Interpersonal skills to resolve issues and interact with clients.
  • Communication skills to clearly explain ideas and resolve problems.
  • CompTIA A+ and Network+ certifications to be completed within 6 months of the start date.
  • Certifications in working at heights, first aid, confined spaces, and WHMIS are assets.
