About the Company: Bitzer Us Inc. is a leading manufacturer of key components used in commercial and industrial refrigeration and air conditioning systems. These key components include compressors, pressure vessels such as condensers and evaporators, compressor packages, and condensing units. Other products include waste heat-to-power equipment that converts excess heat to low-cost electricity.

About the Role: The team lead is responsible for ensuring productivity is maintained throughout the team, as directed by the supervisor of the area. Training new employees properly to ensure proper integration into the team is a high priority to ensure proper assembly of ET units. Upholding the quality standards and the enforcing the moto of “first time right” is the pinnacle of this position.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and/or coordinate the assembly process for Electratherm builds.
• Work closely with Inventory Management, Pre-Assembly, Scheduling, Manufacturing Engineering and Test to ensure daily achievement of quality and production goals.
• Adhere to, develop, and continuously improve relevant operating procedures.
• Drive adherence to the quality standards in all products produced.
• Drive continuous improvement efforts within the department to maximum performance and minimize delay.
• Collaborate with peer group to determine manpower, product work schedules, equipment and raw materials needed to cover production demand then pursue accordingly.
• Monitor production orders to ensure on-time completion.
• Lead by example maintaining the highest levels of quality, safety, performance, attention to detail, planning, and organization.
• Support, guide, and mentor the team members thru the activities of the department and organization.
• Communicate with internal team members keeping them aware of the organizational and cultural expectations.

Qualifications:

• Written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact well with people.
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Ability to maintain numerous activities personally and within team in a fast-paced environment, while meeting deadlines with frequent interruptions.
• Ability to function as a team player within a diverse group and the capacity to work independently under minimal supervision.

Required Skills:

• Understanding of manufacturing and quality control principles requirements for industrial products.
• Collaborate with ET Engineering to resolve issues with builds.
• Results-driven mindset with analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong knowledge of the ET test cell area is a huge plus.
