The Opportunity:
We are helping our Client finding an experienced Manufacturing Engineer. This role involves leading the implementation of new and modified manufacturing processes with a strong emphasis on automation. You will be responsible for driving improvements on existing production lines to enhance efficiency and reduce costs, while also providing technical support for key shop floor processes such as hot forging, machining, assembly, robotics, and welding.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Champion automation projects and cost improvement initiatives.
- Offer daily support for forging, machining, welding, heat treatment, and related processes.
- Maintain project documentation to meet ISO requirements.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and maintenance teams to achieve plant goals.
- Conduct studies and reviews on various projects as needed.
What You’ll Need To Be Successful:
- Engineering Degree or Technologist Diploma with 5+ years of hands-on manufacturing experience.
- Experience with forging, machining, robotics, and welding is a strong asset.
- Knowledge of ISO/IATF standards and 3D CAD software (SolidWorks) is preferred.
- Proven track record in continuous improvement projects.
- Self-starter with excellent communication skills.
