Restaurant Manager
Join a hotel and restaurant company who is seeking the talents of a Restaurant Manager to join their team. The Restaurant Manager reports to the company Regional Manager and he/she is going to lead all aspects of the restaurant operations, including customer service, financial performance and reporting, and staff management.
General Responsibilities:
- Staff Management:
- To coordinate staff scheduling
- Conduct performance reviews
- Financial Performance:
- Manage the restaurant's budget and control costs.
- Monitor sales and labor costs.
- Analyze financial reports and identify areas for improvement.
- Customer Service:
- Ensure excellent customer service by training staff and resolving customer complaints.
- Maintain a clean and welcoming restaurant environment.
- Handle customer feedback and suggestions.
- Food Quality:
- Oversee food preparation and presentation.
- Maintain high standards of food quality and safety.
- Implement and enforce food safety regulations.
- Operations Management:
- Manage inventory and food ordering.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
- Maintain a safe and secure work environment.
Qualifications:
- At least three years of experience on a similar role as a Restaurant Manager
- Food safety certification.
- Knowledge of POS systems.
- Computer and admin skills for staff scheduling and financial reporting
- Candidates must be legally able to work in Canada
