Position: Business System Analyst

Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid)

Duration: Long Term

Required Skill:

• Developing key partnership with Canadian Mortgage desk, Operations, Finance and other back office teams, as well as with product vendor
• Strong understanding of Canadian mortgage environment, including mortgage-backed securities, Canada Mortgage Bonds products
• Problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
• Intrinsic motivation with ability to work alone or in small groups to achieve superior results

Responsibilities:

• Leading detailed requirement gathering to identify, track, and resolve systems defects and address small to medium enhancement requests
• Together with the developers, determining the best mix of development, interfacing applications, and third party vendor solutions to meet business requirements and project objectives
• Proactively identifying risks and developing/recommending mitigation strategies, as well as continually exploring and assessing options for adding value for clients
• Effectively communicating and building rapport with team members, stakeholders and business partners
• Designing test plans and test cases, implementing and maintaining automated testing tools and validations, and managing testing process through to implementation
• Debug SQL stored procedures, investigate and analyze them for Prod issues as well as for future requirements gathering.
• Working as hybrid role that connect business analysts as well as supports business and regression/UAT
